Jerusalem stone is a stone with a character. And why? Because it is considered one of the most distinctive signs of the city of Jerusalem, the Holy City which is a hallmark that has accompanied her for thousands of years and gives her much of her unique atmosphere.

For many years people have tried over the years to understand the secret of Jerusalem’s charm, but it seems that everything is draining into one item, still but alive: a Jerusalem stone. This unique stone, which looks out at the person from all corners of the city, is what gives it its special appearance.

The stone of Jerusalem is usually used as an external covering, as can be understood, but recently it has become increasingly used for external paving and even for internal cladding.

Jerusalem stone was born by the Mother Nature in the sea about 125 million years ago. In the composition of the stone there are many impurities of various rocks, which gives a wide range of colors of the stone, and it can also see other impurities in the form of shells, petrified crustaceans and mollusks and other fossils.

In colors, the Jerusalem stone – Jerusalem stone does not compare with other limestones. There are colors from white-pink, cream, yellow-gold, to dark almost brown tones; there are even gray and dark gray tones.

Application of the Jerusalem stone

It is mostly used on Donor walls, in churches, and synagogues but it can also be used as a countertop, monuments, backsplash, office desk, benches, vanities, furniture, sculptures, balusters, outside steps, showers floors and walls, outside wall covering, fireplaces, bar tops. This stone is beautiful and eternal as Jerusalem itself. All the buildings of Jerusalem are faced with a Jerusalem stone and therefore, one can see and understand why Jerusalem is called a golden city, at sunrise, when the second half of the star starts to rise, its rays begin to reflect from houses and buildings lined with Jerusalem stone and they radiate a golden light. The Jerusalem stone can be in many different colors it really depends on the light outside.

The presence of the Jerusalem stone is a unique feeling of calmness and constancy, tenderness and eternity, harmony and uniqueness.
